Frequently Asked Questions

Q How about a hot coco mix too? I have been looking for something like this item for a long time! I prefer my coffee black, but have wanted powdered milk to add to Starbucks double chocolate hot coco mix. For an 8 oz cup of coco, I added 5 teaspoons of your French Vanilla...yum!

As it happens we do have plans to extend the line and the first item will probably be a hot coco mix.  It will be at least 6 months before we’re ready so in the meantime I wouldn’t give up your double chocolate from Starbucks just yet :)

Thank you for the great question and the kind words!

Q What do you mean by All-Natural?

We use no artificial flavorings or preservatives, and our milk is certified free of artificial hormones like rBST. Our creamers are made from real milk and cream. We use natural vanilla flavor and organic cane sugar for our vanilla creamers, and to prevent spoilage we use natural forms of Vitamins E and C. That's our entire ingredients list!

Q Why do you use organic sugar in the plain version?

We use a very small amount of organic cane sugar in the plain version (an amount roughly equivalent to the size of a pencil eraser per serving) because it acts as a flavor enhancer, much like a small amount of salt does on savory food.  This enhances the flavor of the cream and allows us to lower the overall fat content of each serving.  We use certified organic cane sugar because we decided that if we’re going to add sugar it was important to us that it be organic.

Q I tried to find where the ingredients are on your site.  Do you list them?

You can find this information by visiting our Nutrition Facts page.

Q Are you planning to introduce fully organic versions of the product?

Yes.  We originally started out with the intent of producing a fully organic version, but the product would have been incredibly expensive at retail and the only way to bring the costs down was to produce it in very large amounts.  Once we establish a big enough presence in the marketplace and can generate sufficient volume we plan on introducing organic versions of the products.

Q What is a Tocopherol or Ascorbyl Palmitate?

Tocopherols are natural forms of Vitamin E. The most abundant form of Vitamin E appearing in the human body is alpha-tocopherol, and it is this form that our bodies utilize most readily. Ascorbyl Palmitate, similarly, is a naturally occurring form of Vitamin C. The reason we use these vitamins in our creamers is that they are natural antioxidants, and they help prevent our creamers from spoiling. This allows us to leave out any artificial preservatives and other synthetic compounds used in other instant creamers.

We are serious about healthy and natural foods, and we’d love to receive any feedback you have about our Creamers! We’d also be happy to answer any questions you have about GoodKind or our products. Please feel free to send us questions or comments below!

Q Do you plan on producing lactose or soy free creamers?

We understand there are a large number of people who can’t tolerate either soy and/or lactose and we want to provide a good-tasting high-quality alternative for them as well.  Once we've completed the initial launch of our dairy products, our goal is to introduce a non-dairy, non-soy version of the creamers. We've considered rice milk and hemp milk as a base, but we'd love your input about the best choices for a non-dairy or non-soy GoodKind product. Please use our contact page or join us on Facebook to contribute your suggestions!

Q Are GoodKind Natural Coffee Creamers gluten free?

Yes, all of our creamers are gluten free!
